JoyoPlayer is a relatively new tool for playing media of various formats, but the developers have taken to mind the comments of users using other players and incorporated them to make JoyoPlayer professional, yet simple for most users.

Thanks to its built-in codec, there is no need to look for others and it is not possible that the most used formats from videos, audio and images cannot be played. Users can enjoy each video in high definition in 3D, 4K and UHD. Supported video formats include AVI, MKV, WMV, MPEG-1/2/4, RTS, VCD, DVD, OGM, 3GP, AAC, OGG, WMA7/8; audio formats M4A, M4R, MP3, MP2, MPA, WMA, AAC, AC3, MKA, OGG, AIFF, RA, RAM, WAV, APE, FLAC.

In the settings you can also change various parameters of video, audio and subtitles. Examples include sound effects, equalizer, adjusting subtitle size or transparency, adjusting brightness / contrast / shadows, or changing the video display from 4:3 to 9:16 or 3:4.
